TORONTO ACADEMY OF KARATE - THE UNLABELLED WARRIOR

The Toronto Academy of Karate needed to find a fresh direction to attract new students, so we decided to target the LGBTQ+ community. This community faces increased levels of violent attacks and are less likely to seek help from authorities. We drew upon the fear and anger this community feels daily and encouraged them to take back their inner strength and confidence through karate lessons, and a news powered community safety app.
